Taos Art Online Artist Information |
| Taos
Art Online, an online gallery, showcases works by Taos area artists
like YOU! We provide a web presence for artists who are looking to promote
their creative endeavors. Each artist has an individual website that
displays images of their work along with "artist bio" information.
Best of all, this site features secure shopping, so customers may purchase
your art at any time. Original art is displayed in categories such as
watercolor and oil paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, weaving,
and more. There is also a category for giclée (fine art) prints,
so you may also offer prints of your original work at a lower price.
These can be limited editions or unlimited editions. Eliminate the hassle of designing and maintaining your own website and handling artwork sales and shipping. Taos Art Online will do it for you! Taos Art Online is a service provided by Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. |

Your Website |
|
We will set up an individual website for you with the address "www.yourname.taosartonline.com."
You can promote this name to anyone, including potential customers and current
collectors of your work. People can also get to your site from the main
"www.taosartonline.com" site. The site follows a standardized
design that includes up to twelve images (four minimum) of individual pieces
of artwork created by you that is available for sale. It also includes an
"artist's bio" that gives your background, training, contact information,
and galleries that represent other pieces of your work (Taos Art Online
may edit this for space restrictions or content.). You may substitute any
of the images (after the four minimum) with additional artist information
and/or photos (for example, various processes you use in your work or a
picture of you creating your art). |

Website Sales Information |
| To
ensure the safekeeping of your artwork, we feel it is best that you maintain
inventory of your artwork until a website sale is made. At that time, we
ask that you deliver the art to us within two business days. If the art
requires crating, you have the option to directly deliver the artwork to
the shipper within two days. We ask that all paintings and prints be signed
by the artist. If you would like us to print the giclée prints, we
will print them on demand as we receive an order (the artist will need to
come in and sign the prints). The numbering of limited edition prints is
the responsibility of the artist. All artwork that you submit to the website
must be available for sale and not covered under any sales contract by another
party that would prevent its sale on Taos Art Online by Tasa Graphic Arts,
Inc. But you retain the right to sell your artwork on your own. Please notify
us immediately and we'll remove that piece from your site (or mark it as
sold at your discretion). We have made an effort to represent the artwork
accurately in the images on the website, but due to the Internet, different
monitors and computers, image colors may vary somewhat. |
|
Payment to Artist |
| For
any sale made on your website on Taos Art Online, Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc.

below the artwork image on the website taken from the "List of Artwork"

Arts, Inc. for additional charges to customer for crating, packaging, handling,
shipping, or insurance. If Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. prints giclée
prints of the artwork sold, the cost of the print will be deducted from

the sale (customer is allowed 10 days to return artwork if not satisfied).

Our prints are made from the 24" Epson Stylus® Pro 7800 printer, a newly developed and improved model from its predecessor, the 7600. Based on the newest generation of pigment ink, the Epson UltraChrome K3™ incorporates eight new color pigments including three levels of black. This produces superior quality archival prints with color fidelity, scratch resistance, and color stability (when printed on Epson papers). For more information on inks, go to www.prographics.epson.com. We will make every effort to match the color of the digital file we receive from you, but it will not be exactly the same as the original. We can print up to a full 24" bleed printing at a resolution up to 1440 dpi. The paper is on rolls so the length is flexible. We stock Premium Photographic Luster paper for photographs and Somerset Velvet paper or canvas for art prints. Other papers are available. Prices do not include scanning. See scanning prices above for that service. We will provide interleaving sheets to protect the surface of the print. Digital file types we can accept are RGB or grayscale, TIFF, PSD, JPEG, or EPS at a resolution of at least 180 dpi. Please flatten any layers and delete any additional alpha channels before submitting. CMYK files should be converted to RGB. When you provide the digital files, we assume that they are clean, have the correct contrast and brightness, and have been color corrected to closely match the original to your satisfaction. If you would like us to do color correction, we can do that for an extra charge. We will need to see the original artwork for comparison. If you do not have a digital file of your image, you will need to have your film or artwork scanned. We provide scanning up to the sizes listed above. Digital art service prices are subject to change. |
