Welcome to Taos Art Online, an online gallery showcasing works by Taos area artists. We provide a web presence for artists who are looking to promote their creative endeavors. Each artist has an individual website that displays images of their work along with "artist bio" information. This site features secure shopping, so you may purchase beautiful art at any time. You will see original art such as watercolor and oil paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, weaving, and more. There is also a category for giclée (fine art) prints. This is a new site so please visit often to see new artists' work being added.

Our Sales Guarantee

You must be satisfied with any artwork purchased from
Taos Art Online or return it for a full refund
(not including shipping or insurance costs).

Returns must be made within Ten (10) days of receipt of shipment
by customer. Return to Taos Art Online c/o Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc.

Customer pays for return shipping.
All returns must be packaged carefully in the same container it was sent in.
Artwork must be returned in undamaged and unused condition.
Insurance for the full value and tracking information is required.

Sales Information

All paintings and prints are signed by the artist. All prices shown are subject to change at any time. If this occurs, we will notify you by email or by phone, and your card will not be charged. We will not honor prices that are incorrect due to typographical error, and we will contact you in this case as well. We will continually update the site to mark items that have been sold or remove them from the site. In the event that an item is sold before it is marked that way on the website, we will contact you. We have made an effort to represent the artwork accurately in the images on the website, but due to the Internet, different monitors and computers, image colors may vary somewhat. We also offer digital art services including scanning, digital imaging, and giclée printing.

All credit card orders will require billing address verification.
New Mexico deliveries are subject to a 7.9375% gross receipts tax.
Online Orders
Our online shopping cart is implemented by VirtualCart® which
provides secure ordering through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption
of sensitive customer and credit card information. Click the "Buy" button
for artwork you wish to purchase to enter the secure shopping area.
Fax or Mail Orders
    To print an order form to fax or mail in:
  • Click the "Check Out Now" button after selecting your products.
  • Select Order by Credit Card using FAX or Postal Mail.
  • Complete all information EXCEPT your Card Number.
  • Click the "Submit Secure Order" button (you don't have to enter your card number).
  • A page will appear that you can print. Don’t forget to send it in!

Shipping Information

Estimated shipping and insurance charges will automatically be added at checkout. Cost of shipping is determined based on the weight, value, and type of item. Large original paintings, for example, must be packed in a wooden crate. Large, stretched giclée prints on canvas may be double boxed in cardboard. Some prints may be rolled and sent in a tube, others will be shipped flat. Breakable items may need to be double boxed. The size, weight, and method of packaging determine how the artwork will be shipped. We mainly ship by UPS or truck freight, but will also ship by U.S. Mail, if required. All items will be insured for their full value. Once the shipping method and exact cost is known, we will send you a confirming order with this information by email or phone. We will package artwork in a careful and thorough manner in an attempt to avoid damage. Tasa Graphic Arts, Inc. is not responsible for damage during shipments.

Please allow 7 to 10 working days from the date that we receive your order for U.S. deliveries. Express delivery is available at an additional charge. Please specify this in the "Special instructions" box on the checkout page. There will be additional shipping charges to foreign countries as the shipping cost estimate on checkout is based on U.S. delivery. Customers ordering from foreign countries will be responsible for paying all duties and taxes imposed by their countries.

Click on an art category on the main page. Once in a category, move your cursor over any artist's name to see an example of their work. Click on a name and from there you will go to the artist's individual website. Once on that page, move the cursor over a thumbnail image and click to see a larger view. Click on the larger image to see a popup of an even larger view. At the bottom of the page you can click on the art category or Taos Art Online to return to those pages. Click the "Buy" button to enter the secure shopping area to purchase the artwork you have selected. If you know an individual artist's website address you may go there directly, bypassing the main www.taosartonline.com site.

Transparencies/negatives:
4000 X 4000 dpi for 35 mm and 120/220 mm film or

Scanning includes 15 minutes image cleanup,
contrast and brightness adjustment,
plus digital image file saved on CD.

Any color correcting that is needed will be done at an extra charge.
We will need to see the original artwork for comparison.

Giclée Prints                           Call for prices

Our prints are made from the 24" Epson Stylus® Pro 7800 printer, a newly developed and improved model from its predecessor, the 7600. Based on the newest generation of pigment ink, the Epson UltraChrome K3™ incorporates eight new color pigments including three levels of black. This produces superior quality archival prints with color fidelity, scratch resistance, and color stability (when printed on Epson papers). For more information on inks, go to www.prographics.epson.com. We will make every effort to match the color of the digital file we receive from you, but it will not be exactly the same as the original. We can print up to a full 24" bleed printing at a resolution up to 1440 dpi. The paper is on rolls so the length is flexible. We stock Premium Photographic Luster paper for photographs and Somerset Velvet paper or canvas for art prints. Other papers are available. Prices do not include scanning. See scanning prices above for that service. We will provide interleaving sheets to protect the surface of the print.

Digital file types we can accept are RGB or grayscale, TIFF, PSD, JPEG, or EPS at a resolution of at least 180 dpi. Please flatten any layers and delete any additional alpha channels before submitting. CMYK files should be converted to RGB. When you provide the digital files, we assume that they are clean, have the correct contrast and brightness, and have been color corrected to closely match the original to your satisfaction. If you would like us to do color correction, we can do that for an extra charge. We will need to see the original artwork for comparison. If you do not have a digital file of your image, you will need to have your film or artwork scanned. We provide scanning up to the sizes listed above.
